Chart shows net FDI inflows to the Philippines as measured by the central bank.
Net foreign direct investment to the Philippines

Description: Actual non-resident foreign investment inflows to the Philippines, whose equity capital on the said local enterprise is at least 10%. This is distinct from foreign investments tracked by the Philippine Statistics Authority, which can only be pledges, inside economic zones, and do not have a 10% benchmark.

Note: Comparable data only from 2005 due to methodological changes in computing for BOP by the central bank. Specifically, they are now using BPM 6 from BPM 5. Among others, changes meant inclusion of debt investments on FDI.
