I'm a seasoned financial and data journalist from the Philippines with
over a decade of experience covering macroeconomy, public finance,
banking, and the financial markets. I'm currently a graphics reporter
for Reuters, designing charts and other visuals to better tell stories behind economic data.
I'm a policy researcher on the side with interest on assessing the
impact of public policies on society and economic development. Outside
work, I manage the
Data Dictionary Project, a data-driven news website dedicated
to producing quality data and graphics journalism in the Philippines.
I studied in Manila, Seoul and New York, and worked with people in
same locations as well as London and Southeast Asia. I am currently
based in New York City. When not doing journalism, you'll see me catching
the latest horror film in theaters or with a coffee in my hand in the park.
